SoftTec, Inc. is a Tennessee Corporation operating in Sevierville, Tennessee. Our company opened in 1975 and our corporate charter was established in 1977. The company began working with IBM System 3, System 36, and AS/400 systems. We established an office in two local East Tennessee branches of IBM. In 1990, SoftTec turned focus to local and wide-area networks. In 1993, the first Juvenile Justice installation occurred. This led to the current work plans focused primarily on Juvenile Justice. JSC has been implemented in all types of Courts, Detention Centers, Outside Agencies and other Juvenile Justice Agencies. We are always excited about working with new Juvenile Facilities. Our system has more than 30 modules available and ready to install using either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle, JCS utilizes Microsoft Word for forms and reports, Pocket PC technology for facility management, the latest biometric technology for security, and online photographic images for easy identification of juveniles. Currently we have installations in Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
